ENGLISH DRAMA!!!!

Guys, here is the english drama script that i've been writing since
this whole week for the Language festival at UPNM level..

Entitiled APMN Warrior, about warrior cadet in Warrior academy.
An adaptation of life as a cadet officer in the 16th century. Lekiu,Tuah,Jebat,Kasturi and Lekir showed us on the value of UPNM motto,
DUTY,HONOUR & INTEGRITY.

SCENE 1

At the market

Pembesar 1 : (Hitting a pan) All the citizen, attention! Hereby, I announce the namelist selected to Warrior Academy of Malaya. Upon 10,000 registeration online, we have selected

240 warrior cadet. They are:

1. Hang Jebat

2. Hang Kasturi

3. Hang Lekir

4. Hang Tuah

5. Hang Nadim

6. Hang Lampi

and..

239. Hang Lekiu

To the person listed, please register at Akademi Pahlawan Negeri Malaya on 5^th Jamadil akhir 1431.

Lekiu jumped happily when his name was announced. He ran back to home and excited to tell his family about this.

At lekiu’s house

Lekiu : Mak, mak! I got the offer mak! I was selected to Warrior Academy.

Mak, you’ll let me go right?

Mak : Lekiu… I know it’s your ambition since you are in my pregnancy.

But Lekiu, the life there Is so hard.

You have to scarify many things Lekiu…

Your father will not be happy about this.

Ayah : (coming out from the back) Hmm… what are you taking Bedah?

What do you want from your mother Lekiu ?

Lekiu : Errr… errr… nothing pak. It’s just…

Ayah : Huh. I’ve heard what you are talking about. You want to go to APNM right.

Huh, I’ve told You Lekiu. You are stubborn son! I want to sent you to study

at China, but you don’t want. Where else you want? Egypt ? London ?

I’ll send you.

Lekiu : No, pak. I prefer APNM. I want to be a warrior! It was my choice!

Ayah : Hahaha. Warior?? Hahaha (laught, make silly of Lekiu ). It’s up to you.

It’s your choice right ? go and don’t ever come back.

Prove that you are a true warrior. Then, it is when I call you a my son.

Lekiu : it’s all right pak. I will prove it to you one day.

Lekiu go to get his clothes and packed it.

Lekiu : I go first mak. And I’ll never comeback if i’m not prove to pak.

I’m sorry mak. Please pray for me.

Mak : (pleading) Lekiu, please don’t go. Lekiu,….Lekiu!!

SCENE 2

At warrior Academy

Lekiu went there alone. He saw another warrior with his parents.

Tuah : Mak….I want to go back mak. I want to be at home.

I don’t want to come here mak…

(crying)

Tuah’s mother : Huh. No , no, no! you have to be here. It is the only way

to make you like a true man!

Lekiu come and calm Tuah down.

Lekiu : Guy… Don’t be sad. There’s so many here to support you. Me ,

and many more will be with you.

Next , Lekiu and Tuah get to know with Kasturi, Jebat, and Lekir,

On the Latihan Tunas Pahlawan Day.

Adiputra : Hello everybody. I’m Adiputra. Your Chief Instuctor in Warrior Academy.

Starting from today, you will be known as Warrior Cadet. Understand that cadet?

All Cadet : Yes master!!

Adiputra : Ohh, we’ll start our physical training today. Everybody, on your back.

Side roll to the left. Move now!!!

( everybody on their back and side roll )

Adiputra : (turning at back, not see the cadet)This side rowl is important when you fight

with your enemy. You will not feel headache when you are rowling during a fight.

It is also good for your fitness.

Tuah escape the training by stand up and run. Kasturi follow him.

Lekiu ; Tuah, don’t do like that. You must have integrity and be honest for your own sake.

Tuah : Ahhh....do i care???

Suddenly Adiputra turn back and he saw two of the cadet not following his instruction.

Adiputra : Tuah!! Kasturi!! Why are you walking?? Both of you come here!!!! You know,

integrity is important to the cadet!! Integrity of a cadet cannot be questioned!!!

You must be honest to yourself and others!!

As a punishment, you have a FSMO and extra silat tonight!!

SCENE 3

In silat class

Adiputra ; cadets!! Today,after this training session , you will be tested in your silat examination.

So, during this training and revision session, please pay attention to me. And remember.

No notes from outsides are allowed in examination area.Cadets who are caught will be reported to Pahlawan.

Understand cadets??

Al l cadets ; yes,master!!!

Tuah ; Alamak ...Kasturi, we don’t have enough training and knowledge about our silat lesson.

How can we pass the exam????

Kasturi ; Don’t worry.I’ve brought this pieces of note today.Hehe

Tuah ; Really??Waaa..You saved our day Kastur!!Luckily you bring this note.

Surely we’ll pass then!

Kasturi ; See the leg man!

During the training,Tuah and Lekir did’nt pay attention to the Master.They just talk to each other without following the instruction. Jebat try to advice them to pay attention.

Jebat ; Hey guys! Please pay attention. Or if not, you will not pass the exam!

it’s for your own sake in the future!

Tuah ; Ahhh..Do I care???You are such a busybody man..Just take care of yourself.

I know what I’m going to do.

Lekiu ; Tuah, it’s not good for you. Maybe today is your day. But you never

know what will happen in the future!

The examination started and Lekiu,together with Lekir pass the exam.But unfortunately Jebat failed

In the theorical test.

Adiputra ; Jebat.Go to practise.You will have your retest next time!

Now is tuah and Kasturi turn.They used notes in the exam.They know that this act is strily forbide in exam. With the help of that notes,they passed the exam, but with an illegal way.

One day, Malaya was attacked by it’s enemy. All Malaya was in emergency. All the fighter and warrior was in ready state....and in warrior academy.

Adiputra : Cadet, I have an important message for you. It is unfortunate for Tanah Melayu to go to fight to defend our country. It is my duty.

Lekiu : Master can we join you master? We want to go there too master.

Adiputra : Lekiu, all of you not ready yet. You are not commission yet.

Lekiu : But master we should join you master! It is our responsibility to defend our country!

It is our duty master!

Jebat : Yes master! It is our duty to defend our country! Please master! please allow us to go!!

Adiputra : Hmm... (Thinking) okay, it is fine. As you wish, all of you will join to defend the country.

But remember, integrity and honour is important in duty!

All : Yes, master!

SCENE 4

At the battlefield

They walk across a road and suddenly, there was an ambush by the enemy. All of them was in fight, Tuah, Kasturi was badly injured.

Tuah : Kasturi, it was the result of our training. It is the result when we don’t have integrity

in ourself.

Kasturi : Yes, Tuah. And now, I’m so regret. if i can change the time.....(Kasturi died).

Tuah try to shocked him,but failed.

Tuah : Kasturi, please don’t go. Kasturi...!!!!

Penjahat 1 : Hey, warrior. Don’t you want some money, women, and land!!

Lekiu : Ahhh...i don’t want all of that thing. The honour of my country is everything!!!

(they keep fighting)

And finally, the warriors won the fight. And they could save the country.

At the palace.

Sulthan : I’m so happy with your success. And I’ve decided to honor you as the ambassador of

the country! And I’ve decided to marry my daughter with you, Lekiu!

Lekiu : Thank you Your majesty.

Everyone was happy. And Lekiu come back to his home and meet his parent. They are both happy too.
